Global VP, IT Infrastructure

The VP, IT Infrastructure will define and implement the company’s global internal Information Technology strategy, ensuring a secure, standardized, and efficient IT environment across all global sites.
You will work with third-party providers and internal stakeholders to deliver robust IT infrastructure, governance, and user enablement.

What are the key ingredients needed for this role?
Strategy & Governance
- Define and own a 5-year global IT roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Develop and present annual IT plans and quarterly updates to leadership.
- Enhance IT governance, policies, and best practices across the organization
- Contribute to IT budgeting and cost management processes.
Infrastructure & Operations
- Oversee office IT setup standards (routers, switches, workspace connectivity) in coordination with local office managers.
- Coordinate on rollout of internal SaaS systems (HRIS, PSA, etc.), ensuring alignment to security protocols and integration with existing systems
- Manage lifecycle of company hardware/software assets.
- Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Enterprise Applications and Systems
- Direct the implementation and continuous improvement of enterprise application systems, including Netsuite, Salesforce, and others.
- Ensure these systems are effectively integrated, optimized, and aligned with the organization's strategic goals and operational needs.
- Overseeing the implementation of new HRIS & PSA systems and reporting software to create a platform that facilitates rapid integration of acquisitions
Security & Compliance
- Oversee and enhance IT security policies (device management, email safety, data protection).
- Coordinate with Compliance/Legal on GDPR, ISO 27001, and other frameworks.
- Lead SOC 2 readiness and implementation, including development of policies, controls, and audit preparation.
- Support audits and lead IT incident response readiness.
- Conduct quarterly updates with Auding Committee & Internal Audit regarding Cyber posture and incidents
Vendor Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for outsourced IT vendors.
- Define, monitor, and enforce SLAs and performance expectations.
End User Support & Training
- Ensure high-quality IT support in collaboration with third-party providers.
- Partner with Learning & Development to deliver onboarding and training (Microsoft 365, security awareness).
- Promote adoption of digital tools and best practices across the firm.
- Maintain records employee cyber training
Efficiency & Transformation
- Identify opportunities for automation and workflow improvements (Power Automate, Microsoft 365 integrations).
- Lead migration from non-standard systems to Microsoft 365.
- Support office expansions or M&A IT integration.
Team & Growth
- Initial oversight: outsourced IT vendor (no direct reports).
- Future growth: build and manage a small IT team (1–3 staff covering support, systems, and training).
Essential qualifications/experience:
- 12–15+ years in IT infrastructure and operations, with progressive leadership responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, ITIL, ISO 27001, Microsoft, etc.) preferred.

- Proven track record designing and executing IT strategies across multi-office, global organizations (100–1000+ employees).
- Significant experience managing outsourced IT vendors and negotiating/managing SLAs.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration, SaaS system rollouts, and cloud-first IT environments.
- Demonstrated leadership in IT security and compliance (GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Experience leading business continuity planning, disaster recovery, and incident response.
- Knowledge and experience in Implementation management and ongoing improvement of enterprise Applications.
Leadership & Influence:
- Strong ability to partner with senior leadership and translate business needs into IT strategies.
- Skilled at managing change and driving adoption of new tools and processes.
- Comfortable building a team over time and scaling IT operations with business growth.

- Must be eligible to work in the UK

- Hybrid work model, Farringdon or Covent Garden, London offices
- Permanent, full-time role.
- Reports to the CEO (US based)
- Travel between UK and Pennsylvania (quarterly meetings).
- Line management: 3 direct reports + indirect reports (matrix structure)
